Noé Sébert & Robin Lyons
Robin and Noé are co-artistic directors of Ergon Theatre, a UK leading climate theatre company with extensive experience in creating climate content across various mediums. They aim to entertain, educate, and empower audiences through creative climate communication. Their work serves as a bridge between research, activism, and the public, with collaborations with organisations like Julie’s Bicycle, Natural Environment Research Council, and MIF.
Noé and Robin bring a wealth of experience in co-writing, producing, and performing theatre shows to their collaboration. Their notable work includes “The Wicked Problem” (TWP), an award-winning production that premiered at CONTACT Theatre in 2021 as part of Manchester’s offering for COP26. Subsequently, TWP has been featured in programming at Lancaster Arts (2021), ARC Stockton (2022), Manchester Histories Festival (2022), and most recently, Manchester Museum (2023), where it was commissioned for further development into an immersive takeover experience.
In addition to their theatre work, the duo co-wrote the radio drama “Threads,” commissioned by The Lowry in 2021. This production has also expanded its presence through space takeovers at events such as Manchester Fashion Movement (2022) and Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery (2023).
Noé Sébert, a bilingual writer, has performed his writing at prestigious venues like the House of Commons, The Guildhall and BBC Radio.
Robin Lyons, a neurodivergent writer, has received support from venues like Royal Exchange and has had work performed across various regions. Beyond writing for Ergon Theatre, Robin has contributed to projects like a video game and climate leadership training content. They recently completed an MSc in Environmental Governance, deepening their commitment to addressing the climate crisis.
