Before coming to the UK, Lisa worked across Los Angeles and New York City with some of the most reputable production companies in the world.  On reaching London she earnt her Master’s degree in film at UCLA and was awarded the Sloan Fellowship in Screenwriting during her last year of attendance. Since then she has worked in many aspects of the film industry including distribution, production, sales, and marketing.

In 2008 Lisa along with her sister Cynthia Kane set up GBGG Productions. Her company now has offices in London, Washington DC, and Barcelona. They have a consistent presence at the world’s major film festivals developing new projects as well as continuing work with international television networks and themed festivals. 

Today Lisa divides her time between writing and producing and works alongside the International Emerging Film Talent Association, maintaining her keen interest in emerging filmmakers and documentary film.
