We are thrilled to announce Writer Jess O'Kane has been selected for this years BBC TV Drama Writers Programme.  The BBC Scheme is now in its fifth year and gives promising screenwriters the opportunity to partner with significant independent production companies to further develop and write the first episode script of a potential BBC-commissioned original series or serial. Jess O'Kane will be partnering with The Forge Entertainment whose projects include National Treasure, Collateral and recently BAFTA nominated Kiri.   We can't wait to see what they develop together, Congratulations Jess, we are so proud of you!

In June 2018, Mangold's "Lost Panorama" on the Jeremy Thorpe scandal which could not be shown for forty years for legal reasons was finally transmitted on BBC4. The one-hour special documentary gave the channel the biggest audience it has ever had and was received to national acclaim making headlines throughout Britain. Quoted on BBC Daily Politics - 'In Tom's house you don't burn books, and you don't destroy films' - We would have it no other way, Tom! 

The BFI NETWORK selected 17 participants from 510 applicants to take part in NETWORK@LFF. The scheme guides and nurtures emerging producers, writers and directors who are taking creative risks, pushing boundaries of narrative and form, and forging new pathways for cinematic storytelling. They will have many opportunities on the programme to progress their feature film careers, attending masterclasses, screenings and networking events.
